Snow fun in our Zugspitz village

As soon as there is enough snow and it is cold enough, you can let off steam under a blue sky, with various sports. Whether cross-country skiing on our numerous trails, curling or skating on the natural ice rink, sledding down into the valley or hiking with snowshoes through the snowy winter landscape, everyone can experience the Zugspitzdorf Grainau in their own way.

For those who prefer skiing or snowboarding, Zugspitze is home to Germany's highest ski area. At 2,720 meters above sea level, on the Zugspitzplatt, various natural snow slopes await skiers and snowboarders. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 7 km away, the Garmisch-Classic ski area awaits you with more great slopes.

  • Advent, Advent a candle is burning!
