Between Heaven and the Höllental Valley

Just above the Alpspitzbahn mountain station, two steel girders form a floating X over a depth of almost a thousand meters. The AlpspiX viewing platform elicits reverent "ahs" and "oohs" even from experienced mountain experts and summit storms - at the latest at the glassed-in end of the 25-meter-long footbridges, from where there are unrestricted wide and deep views of the snow-covered Zugspitze, Waxensteine, the huge north face of the Alpspitz and down into the wild Höllental valley.

Visitors can also enjoy this overwhelming experience in the winter season. Simply follow the signposted path via the upper level of the Alpspitzbahn mountain station! Temporary closures of the AlpspiX are possible due to weather conditions - please check the daily weather report of the mountains
