Werdenfels Museum

The Werdenfels Museum was established from a private collection in 1985.

Since 1973, the museum resides in a former 17th century merchant's house. The museum presents the history and culture of the Werdenfels region, starting from early historical findings and leading on to local art and culture.

Particularly noteworthy is the carnival room with masks of and disguises through the ages, providing an overview of the carnival tradition in this area.
