Shrove Tuesday in Grainau with many traditional Maschkera groups, such as the Schellenrührer Obergroana and Untergroana, Maschkera-Musi, Bären, Kinderbär, Untersberger Mandl and Mühlradl and many super guaden Maschkera and especially the numerous children's Maschkera groups. The tradition lives on in Grainau.
