Machinery in the village

The first Children's Maschkera Gungl in Grainau warmly invites all children's Maschkera and numerous spectators to participate in this special event.

Unfortunately, we had to choose a date that is actually not intended for a Gungl or suitable for a Maschkera event. However, since these are school-age children and due to the federal election, unfortunately no other date was available, we ask for your understanding; we know that one does not go Maschkera on a Saturday!

The Fasching event begins at around 2:44 PM and takes place at the former swimming pool restaurant "MyMarenn," along the route and at the Minigolfhütterl. There, the various children's Maschkera groups will gather to ensure a traditional and lively day of customs.

The event offers a wonderful opportunity to maintain the old tradition of "Maschkera" and to introduce the joy of this custom to the children. All visitors can look forward to an atmospheric experience and many traditional and creative costumes with hand-carved wooden masks.

The Zugspitz village of Grainau, along with the Fasching club Grainau e.V., looks forward to many participants and spectators to make this first Children's Maschkera Gungl a successful event!
